The degree of importance associated with the severity of an attack is defined as:
Critical - Attacks that must be looked at immediately.
Major - Attacks that must be looked at soon.
Minor - Attacks that should be looked at as time permits.
Low - Traffic that is probably normal, but may have security implications.
